It's been a year since The Cluckery moved into Mequon Pavilions at 10944 N. Port Washington Rd. – and the tasty chicken tenders brand is now celebrating its inaugural anniversary by taking a page out of Willy Wonka's book, hosting a "golden receipt" giveaway.
Running today from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., customers who purchase a meal in-person at The Cluckery's brick-and-mortar Mequon base will have a chance to receive the "golden receipt," earning them free chicken tenders and tater tots from the restaurant for a whole year. Customers should hold on to their receipts, as the winning order number will be revealed on Saturday, Nov. 5 on The Cluckery's social media channels.
"We’re so proud to have had a successful first year at The Cluckery and are excited to celebrate this great occasion with a giveaway for our customers,” said Michael Belot, Senior Vice President of Bucks Ventures and Development, in a release. "It’s been a privilege to serve our customers in Mequon and throughout Ozaukee County this past year, and we look forward to serving them for many years to come."
Even if you don't win the Wonka-like prize on Friday, you still have a chance to score free chicken tenders on Saturday thanks to the Bucks' game against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Fiserv Forum. There, if a Thunder players misses two free throws in a row during the fourth quarter, all fans in attendance can bring their ticket to The Cluckery in Mequon the following day for three free chicken tenders.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
