The folks at The Pabst and Riverside Theater are setting up spring with lots of laughs. Just announced, Bill Maher, Steve Martin and Craig Ferguson make their way to Milwaukee for three very funny, entertaining shows.
If 2008’s "Religulous" release was any indication, Maher isn’t afraid of uncomfortable confrontation. In his stand-up routine, no celebrity (or American) is safe from his critical comedic style. See Maher as he takes on Palin, Obama, the media and others at the Riverside Theater on April 10. Tickets are $45 and go on sale Feb. 24.
Martin is far and away a household name, starring in dozens of films, television shows and comedy tours. This tour, he brings back his original banjo-playing musical style for a musical show at the Riverside Theater on April 20; tickets are $55-$75 and go on sale Feb. 26.
Ferguson, known for his role on the "Drew Carey Show," currently hosts "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson." Catch the live version of his late-night antics at The Pabst Theater on April 29. Tickets are $45 and go on sale Feb. 22.
OnMilwaukee.com staff writer Maureen Post grew up in Wauwatosa. A lover of international and urban culture, Maureen received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
After living on the east side of Madison for several years, Maureen returned to Milwaukee in 2006.
After a brief stint of travel, Maureen joined OnMilwaukee.com as the city’s oldest intern and has been hooked ever since. Combining her three key infatuations, Milwaukee’s great music, incredible food and inspiring art (and yes, in that order), Maureen’s job just about fits her perfectly.
Residing in Bay View, Maureen vehemently believes the city can become fresh and new with a simple move across town.
