Since reopening this past April, The Times Cinema has eschewed new releases in favor of themed monthly programming bringing beloved classics and cult favorites back to the big screen. There was Sci-Fi July, Shocktoberfest and, now, the entire month of November dedicated to the Oscar-winning over-the-top glory of Nicolas Cage. 

Open Wednesday through Sunday throughout the month of November, the one-screen Tosa movie theater will screen a collection of some of Cage's most iconic work – from the goofball comedy "Raising Arizona" to the significantly less intentional (but just as hilarious) comedy of "The Wicker Man" and the blissful '90s blockbuster ridiculousness of "Face/Off," "The Rock" and "Con Air."

Here's the full lineup of Nic Cage films coming to The Times Cinema this month:

• "Con Air" – Nov. 4-6 and 9, at 6:30 p.m.
• "8MM" – Nov. 4-5 at 9:15 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
• "The Rock" – Nov. 11-13 and 17, at 6:30 p.m.
• "National Treasure" – Nov. 12-13 at 3:15 p.m. and Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
• "Raising Arizona" – Nov. 19-20 and 23, at 6:30 p.m.
• "The Family Man" – Nov. 19-20 at 3:30 p.m. and Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. 
• "Face/Off" – Nov. 25-27 and 30, at 6:30 p.m.
• "The Wicker Man" – Nov. 25-26 at 9:45 p.m. and Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m.

And for a little more big-screen bombast, November at the Times will also feature a screening of the 1986 action-comedy extravaganza "Big Trouble in Little China" on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. The John Carpenter cult classic is the Times' latest Friday Night Freak Show, a special monthly screening of an off-kilter gem presented by WMSE that comes complete with a DJ providing pre-show entertainment. Sure, there's no Nic Cage in "Big Trouble in Little China" – but the movie rules so don't hold it against it.
