As OnMilwaukee.com and Milwaukee Magazine get ready to host the first annual Milwaukee Top Model search, you can prepare to cheer on the competition by familiarizing yourself with the top 10 finalists. Watch for profiles of all 10 models over the next week and then watch them strut their stuff at Bradford Beach on Saturday, Aug. 8.

These lucky contestants are competing for the grand prize package which includes two round-trip tickets from AirTran, a professional photo shoot from Stenten Rowe Studios, an interview in an upcoming issue of Milwaukee Magazine and at OnMilwaukee.com, participation in Lela's fifth annual "Tents Under Broadway" fashion event this September, five practice ballroom dance lessons and two practice dance parties at Fred Astaire, a lifelong subscription to Milwaukee Magazine, media exposure and the opportunity to serve an advisory role for Milwaukee's Top Model 2010.

To give our readers the opportunity to get the inside scoop on these fabulous contestants, here's a quick Q & A with two of the top 10: Cassia Hope Nedweski, 27, of Oconomowoc and Marteisha Dunson, 23, of Milwaukee.

Q: Do you have any favorite designers/boutiques in Milwaukee?

A: I love the Third Ward. Any boutique in that area is fabulous. I love to shop and am always willing to wear and experiment with new looks and styles.

Q: In your opinion, what makes a good model?

A: A good model is someone comfortable in his or her own skin. When you feel good, you look good.

Marteisha Dunson

Q: What is your favorite Milwaukee restaurant?

A: I love Italian food and the best place for that I've ever been is Bravo's!

Q: Describe a good location for a Milwaukee fashion shoot.

A: Bayshore Towne Center has beautiful scenery.
