The first phase of Mo's Irish Pub Wauwatosa begins at 11 a.m. on Tues., Jan. 17, with the demolition of the Ground Round. This landmark Wauwatosa restaurant, in existence for over thirty years at the corner of Bluemound Road and Highway 100, will be leveled to make way for the new Mo's Irish Pub.

The new Mo's Irish Pub will be approximately 7,000 square feet with an outdoor patio and a stage for live music. Like the downtown neighborhood Pub, the Wauwatosa Pub will offer Irish and American appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrées. “Mo’s Irish Pub has become a Milwaukee favorite in a very short period of time. For me, as a local businessperson, the expansion of Mo’s Irish Pub within my hometown is very gratifying. Overall, Milwaukee’s very own Mo’s restaurant family is very excited that in the near future we will be serving our friends in the western suburbs,” said proprietor Johnny Vassallo.

The demolition is being coordinated by Walters Wrecking, Inc., and is scheduled to take ten days for complete removal. The Irish pub will be designed by the Zimmerman Design Group and construction on the new Pub will be managed by Berghammer Construction. The address of the new Mo's Irish Pub is 10842 West Bluemound Road.

Mo's also is developing plans for a new Monsoon Brookfield location.
