The Milwaukee Wave and United Soccer Leagues released this announcement early Tuesday afternoon:

"Milwaukee Wave head coach, Keith Tozer, has been selected to be part of the USL Hall of Fame Class of 2011. He is among the nine men and women who will be recognized for their tremendous efforts and personal sacrifices made on behalf of the sport of soccer in North America. He will be recognized at the USL Hall of Fame Banquet presented by Demosphere on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Hilton Clearwater Beach.

"'I am extremely proud and honored to be the first MISL Coach inducted into the USL Hall of Fame. I would like to thank Jim Lindenberg and all of the previous Wave's owners. I would also like to thank all of the players that I had the privilege to coach over the years along with the front office staff and our great fans,' stated Milwaukee Wave head coach, Keith Tozer.

"Milwaukee Wave owner, Jim Lindenberg was thrilled to hear that Coach Tozer would be honored for all of his achievements. "It is my pleasure and honor to have Keith Tozer as our Senior Vice President of our Soccer Operations. The Milwaukee Wave and Wisconsin is and should be very proud that we have one of the best Soccer Coaches in the World residing and coaching right here in our state for the last 20 years and for many years to come," stated Jim Lindenberg."
