Trenni Kusnierek is leaving Milwaukee.

Kusnierek, who returned to town last winter as sideline reporter on Brewers and Bucks broadcasts for Fox Sports Wisconsin, informed network officials that she is leaving.

She did not, however, reveal her next destination. Industry sources have indicated that she will join former Brewers announcer Matt Vasgersian with the new MLB Network, which will begin broadcasting Jan. 1.

Wikipedia's entry on the network lists Kusnierek as working for MLB.

"I'll be able to tell you some time next week," she said. "Some things are still being finalized."

Kusnierek, who graduated from Muskego High School and Marquette University, worked at Channel 58 for two years before accepting a job with Fox Sports Pittsburgh, where she covered the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins from 2002-'07.

Upon leaving Pittsburgh, she returned to Milwaukee last spring to work for the Brewers and Bucks. She is also an occasional blogger for and a regular guest with senior editor Drew Olson on "The D-List," on 540 ESPN.
