The last day of service at Tulip, the Third Ward's turkish restaurant, will be Aug. 1.

The restaurant, which opened at 360 E. Erie St. in summer 2007, announced its closing on Facebook. 

The restaurant will be open for dinner service on Wednesday and Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10:30 p.m.
