The Blasters, who have been carrying the roots rock torch for more than three decades, visit Shank Hall tonight.

Rumbleseat opens the program. Tickets cost $20.

The Blasters' latest studio album, "4-11-44," has 14 tracks drawing from band influences like Carl Perkins, Howlin' Wolf, James Brown, Big Joe Turner and others.

If you haven't seen Phil Alvin and the boys, they put on a hellfire show perfect for a summer festival or an intimate club like Shank Hall.
