Day 2 of the VERGE Music Festival brings the intelligent power-pop of Weezer, the ‘60s-tinged jangle of Wisconsin natives Locksley, the drive of Atlanta's Manchester Orchestra and the geeky charm of the Raveonettes.

That's just at one stage.

VERGE, which began it's two-day run on Friday at the Summerfest Grounds, continues today with music, shopping and entertainment from 2 p.m. to midnight.

In addition to the nationally-known acts, the lineup features several local bands, including Juniper Tar, Invade Rome, Jaill and Pezzettino.

The festival also will feature the Scion "Battle at the Bubbler" Pro/AM BMX and Sk8board Competition, an invitation-only event hosted by VERGE and produced by 4Seasons Skate Park. Practice sessions are Friday, with the finals slated for Saturday.
