Milwaukee’s ever-evolving festival schedule got a little bigger on Monday, as fashion subscription startup Wantable along with Milwaukee content creators and record label Hear Here Presents announced the lineup for the 2024 edition of Wantable Fest. This is the first public-facing iteration of the festival, which ran in 2023 at Wantable Cafe, though was only open to associates.
This year’s festival will take place in Walker’s Point at Wantable Cafe (123 Walker St.) and features eight acts taking the stage on Saturday, August 24th. Minneapolis band Night Moves will headline a largely Midwest-based lineup, alongside Milwaukee’s Old Pup and Chicago act Tobacco City. Milwaukee acts Dandy L. Freling and Vinyl Department will round out the local aspect of the indie-meets-country themed lineup.
“We’re proud to be bringing a core Wantable tradition front and center to share with the Milwaukee community this August,” Wantable President and CEO Jalem Getz said via statement. “It’s exciting to share a piece of our company with our neighbors and introduce Wantable to those who might not know us yet in this fun-filled format.”
In addition to a full night of music, there will also be food truck offerings from Streetza Pizza, Fatty Patty Burgers, Pig Tailz, Petes Pops, Midwest Sad Sweets and Snacks and more.Of course, Wantable Cafe will also feature a sampling of retail clothing as well, offering a glimpse at the style curated by the subscription-based retailer. The new festival is the intersection of music, fashion, and food, with free RSVPs and VIP tickets now available via Eventbrite.
Wantable Fest is, of course, just the latest addition to the the many festivals happening around Milwaukee this summer. Don’t forget to check out even more summer festivals in our handy guide, and you can find even more concerts in our live music guide, as well.
