{image1}When the Warped Tour rolls into Milwaukee's Marcus Amphitheater on Sunday, June 19, Chicago's Fall Out Boy will be among the most anticipated acts.

The powered punk-rock quartet includes drummer Andy Hurley, a UWM grad from Menomonee Falls. Although the band has only been around for four years, Fall Out Boy already has much to be excited about.

The band released its major label debut, "From Under the Cork Tree," in May, and the compliments have been rolling. Rolling Stone has named the group one of its "10 Artists to Watch." The album debuted at #1 at Tower Online.

"Last year, it was hell," bassist/lyricist Pete Wentz says of the Warped Tour. "The shows were awesome, but the heat was crazy.

"It's a war of attrition because we traveled around in a van last year," Wentz adds. "But this year, we have a bus, so it's much better. We're really excited about Warped Tour this year. It's cool because older punk and newer punk get the chance to meet. The Offspring and The Transplants; it's just awesome."

The Milwaukee show is more than just a gig for Fall Out Boy, though.

"Our parents come to Milwaukee and catch our show," Wentz adds. "It's great to see the family."

Here are a few of the other bands on the long list of Warped Tour acts:

The Offspring -- This Southern California punk band has had its share of the spotlight throughout its long career. Though some songs have drifted out of the classic Offspring style and into the land of pop, the heart remains. The band releases a greatest hits album on June 21, which features the song "Can't Repeat."

The Transplants -- Formed in 1999, this group was an experiment that turned out better than members Tim Armstrong, Travis Barker and Rob Ashton had ever imagined. Armstrong had already had success with Rancid and Baker the same with Blink-182. Combing their musical forces allowed The Transplants to have an already mature punk sound.

Dropkick Murphys -- When Dropkick Murphys formed in 1996, it wasn't a serious effort. The band wanted to just have some fun playing in basements. They release "The Warrior's Code," a new album, on June 21.

Matchbook Romance -- Once known as The Getaway, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.'s Matchbook Romance is currently working on their follow-up to "Stories & Alibis."
