The 2016 NBA Draft Lottery will be held on Tuesday, May 17, to determine the draft positions of the 14 non-playoff teams from the 2015-16 NBA season. The Draft Lottery will be held at the New York Hilton Midtown and will be broadcast live on ESPN beginning at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Milwaukee enters the lottery with a 1.8 percent chance of landing the top overall pick, and a 6.5 percent chance of jumping into the top three. The team’s most likely odds are for the 10th pick (84.6 percent). The Bucks last appeared in the lottery in 2014 when the team landed the second overall pick and later selected forward Jabari Parker.
The Bucks have earned the 10th pick in the Draft Lottery three times in franchise history (2011: Jimmer Fredette; 2009: Brandon Jennings; 1997: Danny Fortson). This year marks Milwaukee’s 17th appearance in the Draft Lottery. The Bucks also own two second round picks in the 2016 NBA Draft.
