The Greater Milwaukee area is full of things to do and see on the weekend. But what about those of us who are weekday warriors? Where are the listicles and previews for those of us that love exploring the city on Tuesday nights?

Monday, Aug. 12

Diverse Dining

What: Join Diverse Dining for an impactful evening as we dive into a conversation that looks into the whole picture of education in Milwaukee. Diverse Dining is designed to encourage meaningful, authentic conversation around things that matter to you and the community.

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga

What: Come enjoy a new perspective of Milwaukee and practice yoga in the quiet water basin off of Lake Michigan next to the Summerfest grounds. You may be thinking that SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) Yoga is only for advanced yogis. But that’s not the case at all – no SUP or previous yoga experience yoga experience required! It’s a super fun activity for anyone looking to get a good work out, relax and connect with nature.

NEWaukee Night Market

What: NEWaukee’s Night Market is a free, outdoor event showcasing a variety of local Milwaukee vendors, performers and artists. Held monthly during the summer, the Night Market transforms the heart of Downtown into an exciting fusion of all the city has to offer.

Time: 5-10 p.m.

Location: West Wisconsin Avenue between Vel Phillips and Plankinton Avenues

Thursday, Aug. 15

Sanger House Gardens Presents Jazz in the Garden

What: Relax in their beautiful gardens and enjoy the sounds of Jack and Jill Jazz. Jack Grassel plays bass and guitar simultaneously on his custom guitar to accompany Jill Jensen’s soulful vocals. Delicious hors d'oeuvres will be served by The Pasta Tree, along with a selection of wine and beer.
