It's Judgment Day for Wisconsin politics, and it couldn't have come too soon.
In fact, it's weeks too late, if you ask me. I've been inundated with robocalls, TV ads, radio ads, internet ads, bridge demonstrators and creepy TMI direct mailers apparently designed to whip me into a voting frenzy.
I'm frenzied, all right, but only to see an end to the campaign madness. And, judging from the Facebook response I got to my post of "It's been a fun day of marking all the political ads on Facebook as 'offensive'," plenty of other people have suffered through the media onslaught long enough.
There are just hours to go until we leave the misleading candidate bashing behind and return to the sweet comfort of misleading commercials for consumer goods.
I can't wait.
Contrary to her natural state of being, Renee Lorenz is a total optimist when it comes to Milwaukee. Since beginning her career with OnMilwaukee.com, her occasional forays into the awesomeness that is the Brew City have turned into an overwhelming desire to discover anything and everything that's new, fun or just ... "different."
Expect her random musings to cover both the new and "new-to-her" aspects of Miltown goings-on, in addition to periodically straying completely off-topic, which usually manifests itself in the form of an obscure movie reference.
