Things are starting to heat up, both outside (OK, yes, literally anything would be warmer than the past week) but also with the Wisconsin State Fair, which announced yet another Main Stage headlining act: the Happy Together tour, bringing several retro music icons to the stage on the late summer spectacular's closing night, Sunday, Aug. 11.
This year's edition of the Happy Together tour will showcase a number of oldie-but-goodie favorites including The Turtles ("Happy Together"), Jay & the Americans ("Come A Little Bit Closer"), The Association ("Never My Love"), Badfinger ("Baby Blue"), The Vogues ("Five O'Clock World") and The Cowsills ("The Rain The Park And Other Things").
The Happy Together Tour joins Kidz Bop Live as the State Fair's two Main Stage headliner announcements thus far, with many more still to come.
Tickets for this throwback show will go on sale to the public starting Friday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Wisconsin State Fair's website. Reserved seating tickets will range in cost from $39, $44 and $49. For more information, click here.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
