WaterStone Bank will once again donate $10 to the Sojourner Family Peace Center every time one of the Milwaukee Brewers scores a run during the 2011 season. This marks the second year in a row that WaterStone Bank has worked in partnership with the SFPC.

Last year WaterStone Bank accumulated $7,500 in donations for programs designed to help families who have suffered from domestic abuse. So far this season the Brewers have scored 120 runs, which adds up to $1,200 in donations.

WaterStone also began working with WTMJ Brewers radio in April to send the SFPC message of creating peaceful communities in which domestic respect and a life free of violence is the right of every woman, man and child.

"WaterStone has been a wonderful ally in helping us spread the word about Sojourner Family Peace Center's mission and services," Angela Mancuso, co-executive director of Sojourner Family Peace Center, said in a statement.

"The local radio spots create crucial awareness in the Milwaukee community while the monetary donation helps us to better assist residents looking to break the cycle of violence. We are so grateful for WaterStone's generosity and support, and wish the Brewers much success this season."
