October is the third annual Dining Month on All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delicious features, chef profiles, unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2009."

Yanni's Steaks, Chops and Seafood, 540 E. Mason St., closed in August, 2008.

But, rumors have been surfacing for the past several months that a local owner is taking over the space and will open another steakhouse in this high profile corner spot at Van Buren and Mason Streets in Downtown Milwaukee.

I don't have confirmation yet, but since it's day one of's Dining  Month I thought I'd start it off with some buzz.

Milwaukee's ever-changing restaurant scene is never boring.  So, especially during Dining Month, if you have news or buzz about the area's dining scene please send us an e-mail or use the Talkbacks.

And, as always, get out and eat in Milwaukee.
