Getting hungry for Milwaukee's first food park? Well, dinner is almost served, as Zocalo Food Park announced on Facebook that it will host its grand opening celebration on Saturday, July 13, at its home at 636 S. 6th St., found one block west of the former La Fuente and Nomad Nacional location.

The day will start with fresh hand rolled bagels from Ruby's Bagels, Zocalo's first incubator concept, served from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. The rest of the food vendors – including familiar names like Scratch Ice Cream and the Mazorca Taco Truck, as well as two new concepts, the international burger spot Fontelle's Eatery and Asian rice bowl restaurant Bowl Cut – will cook up dishes from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Saturday. Zocalo's sixth vendor spot will be taken by an always-rotating local food truck.

In addition to tasty eats, the new food park will also feature a full-service bar, a bocce court, live entertainment and plentiful seating both outdoors and covered.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
