Monica De Palma, owner of Monica's On Astor, will soon take over Junior's Hook, 1517 S. 2nd St. Matthew "Sherm" Sherman opened Junior's Hook in 2015, but is now moving on to other things.
De Palma – whose family owns the Y-NOT II and former Y-NOT III (later Nick's House) – plans to rename the bar Dark Horse Tavern.
"I’ve always liked Walker's Point and how the bar owners all work together," says De Palma. "I'm really excited to be a part of it."
The opening date is to be determined. Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for a first look as soon as the transition is complete.
