For years, the East Side was the destination for Halloween night – or the weekend before Halloween – but this year Walker’s Point is ready to dominate the spook scene.

On Saturday, Oct. 28 from 7 to 11 p.m., the neighborhood will host its very first bar crawl and costume contest, featuring an $800 first prize. Second place is a $250 gift card and Milwaukee Bucks suite tickets serve as the third place prize. Winners will be notified the next day.

To enter, check in at the Fat Daddy’s tent between 7 and 11 p.m.

Participating bars include Fat Daddy’s, O’Lydia’s, Drink WisconsinblyThe Bottle, Junior’s Hook, Woody’s, Walker’s Pint, Fluid, Little Whiskey Bar, Hamburger Mary’s and Camino.

Shuttles will run all night from O’Lydia’s and Fat Daddy’s to the other bars, all of which will have $1 off Coors Lights and $1 off shots of Captain Morgan.

"Walker's Point is already a destination for so many things, why not Halloween?" says Rick Sackett, O'Lydia's co-owner.
