A new nano-brewery is setting its sights on a Memorial Day weekend opening in Wauwatosa. Stock House Brewing Co. will be located at 7208 W. North Ave. in the former home of Evenement Planning.

Owners Paul Hepp and Mark Henry Mahoney are behind the brewery, which will feature a tiny one-barrel system, an indoor tap room with a bar that seats about 15 guests and a small outdoor beer garden behind the building.

Variety will be the spice of life at Stock House, where Mahoney says they will introduce new small-batch, uniquely flavored beers on a regular basis. In fact, he says, their goal is to create new beer every time, and never the same beer twice.

Mahoney, a veteran home brewer, debuted two of his beers – an IPA called "Not From Concentrate" and an Irish Breakfast stout infused with Cocoa Pebbles cereal and aged in a Jameson whiskey barrel – under the name Mahoney's Basement Beer Co. at Firkin Fest this past July. And he says there are more creative brews, all of which pay homage to classic styles, where that came from.

Watch OnMilwaukee in the days ahead for more information on the brewery and the folks behind it. In the meantime, you can give Stock House Brewing a follow on Facebook.
