Get ready for Summer Camp rooftop bar and patio in Shorewood
Beginning Tuesday, June 6, Milwaukeeans will have yet another rooftop bar and patio to enjoy. This time it's at The Atrium, 2107 E. Capitol Dr.
Late last summer, Camp Bar owners Natalia and Paul Hackbarth acquired the former Garden Room, a venue they transformed into an event space fit for weddings and other celebrations.
The gorgeous space, which is primarily used for private events features a rooftop bar in the atrium, as well as an area to the front of the building which overlooks Capitol Drive. There's also a large rooftop garden, as well as a 1,000 square foot patio.
"We've altered the landscaping on the roof to be more event and bar friendly," notes Hackbarth "So there are six little pockets where you can sit in the garden itself."
The rooftop space, which Hackbarth says will stock a nice selection of summer beer, wine, sangria and cocktails, will be open to the public three days a week.
"We'll be planning to do specials on certain evenings," Hackbarth notes, "Including a wine night and a scotch and cigar night."
Beginning June 6, the rooftop at The Atrium will be open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4 to 10 p.m.
