Season's eatings! The weather may be getting colder, but Dining Month on OnMilwaukee is just cooking up, dishing out your winning picks in this year's Best of Dining poll. Dining Month is brought to you by Fein Brothers, your premier food service equipment and supply dealer in Wisconsin since 1929. Congratulations to all of the winners, and happy eating for all those who voted!

Taco Moto

Taco Moto’s motto is "the best f@#king tacos in Wisconsin" – and readers must have agreed because this Milwaukee taco stop won the vote for best food truck. Chef Mitch Ciohon takes pride in his rotating menu, experimenting with whatever he decides to put inside the tortilla – sometimes representing recent holidays, other times just random root vegetables. No matter the case, it always tastes good.

Be sure to try the truck’s classic Dr. Pepper-braised pork with pickled cabbage, jalapeño and radish, or try the Plantaco with a fried ripe plantain, braised pork, aioli, radish and sliced roasted almonds. Four vinegar-based sauces are also available to add to your taco: the mild roasted jalapeño, medium red jalapeño and a hot habanero. Open daily at noon, as well as at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, this food truck can always be found right behind Boone & Crockett, rocking until around 1 a.m. nightly.

Taco Moto’s sister concept, Burger Moto, was founded by Ciohan as well and can be found on the patio at Rogues Gallery.
