For the sixth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2012."

Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2012. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

Milwaukee has a strong and proud Greek community, and plenty of hotspots for delicious Greek food. But if the annual dining poll here at OnMilwaukee.com were the Olympics, Oakland Gyros would get the gold in Best Greek every time.

This perennial favorite has once again been named the best Greek restaurant in Milwaukee.

Oakland Gyros, located at 2876 N. Oakland Ave., won by a generous 20 percent margin over the nearest competition. This year it also won the title of Best Late-Night Drunk Eats and took third in the Best Cheap Eats.

Diners love Oakland Gyros for its affordable but delicious menu, generous portions of meat and flexible hours.
