You've got a new excuse to wing it over to Deer District: Cream City Cluckery, a new delivery and pickup restaurant focusing only on chicken tenders, opens Wednesday.
The new eatery's menu will showcase chicken tenders and house-made dipping sauces alongside a small collection of classic comfort food sides such as mac and cheese, honey butter biscuits, tater tots and, for dessert, an "ooey gooey butter cake" which, for an extra bit of sweetness, will donate part of its proceeds to the Milwaukee Bucks Foundation.
"We are excited to offer made-from-scratch chicken tenders to the local area in a convenient way," said Fiserv Forum senior executive chef Kenneth Hardiman, in a release.
Cream City Cluckery will be open for delivery and pickup orders Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. as well as Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Delivery can be ordered through food apps like GrubHub, DoorDash and Uber Eats while pickup orders should be made either online at Cream City Cluckery's website or over the phone at (414) 422-6992, then picked up at the resaturant's location at 400 W. Highland Ave. in Deer District.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
