Plans may be in the works for a new East Side restaurant from James Beard Award-nominated chef Justin Carlisle, according to a story posted today by Corinne Hess of BizTimes.
If the plans come to fruition, the restaurant would be part of a mixed-use project planned for 1832 N. Farwell Ave. and 1840 N. Farwell Ave., across the street from Ardent.
A conversation this afternoon with Carlisle confirmed he has an interest in the project and has been involved with discussions related to it; however, he indicated that no plans have been finalized at this time.
The proposal for the Farwell Tower project will go before the Milwaukee Common Council in April.
