Beginning next week, you can get a new taste of a old Milwaukee classic.

After closing their doors in February, the Historic Silver Spring House, 6655 N. Green Bay Ave., is slated to reopen its doors to the public at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 30.

The historic property, which has roots that date back to 1904, was given new life by venture capitalist David Braeger of D.O.B. Holdings, who purchased the property in March with the goal of giving the restaurant a refreshed look, feel and menu.

The restaurant’s new menu will feature both hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and salads as well as a few entrée items. Bread for both the burgers and sandwiches is made in house daily. The full bar features beer, wine and spirits along with a Silver Spring House lager and IPA brewed thanks to a partnership with with Sprecher Brewing Co.

Silver Spring House hours will be Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to midnight
