After 16 years, Trocadero, 1758 N. Water St., will close its doors and the owners – the Milwaukee-based Wild Planet Hospitality Group – will move toward its latest concept.

The new concept will be announced in February.

"With all of the improvements and changes happening across the city and particularly the East Side, we thought this was the perfect time to jump on board and be a part of that change," said Drew Deuster, managing partner of Wild Planet Hospitality Group.

Wild Planet acquired Trocadero from The Lowlands Group in December 2014.

The owners invite guests to celebrate Trocadero’s 16-year tenure with a farewell weekend, Jan. 13-15.

"Enjoy your favorite Trocadero bloodies, brunch items and cocktails one or more times before we close," says Deuster. "Changes are happening and we are excited be a part of them."
