Zoup!, a soup restaurant franchise with more than 70 locations, will soon on Thursday in the new Avenir Apartments building, 1437 N. Jefferson St.

Zoup! offers 12 always-rotating choices of soups, including low-fat, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free and spicy. Customers are encouraged to sample soups before making a purchase. The menu also features made-to-order salads and sandwiches.

The hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
