Last November, OnMilwaukee's Bobby Tanzilo reported that the Country Springs Hotel was planning to change its name to The Ingleside Hotel. Well, as of this week the name change is official.

Waukesha Hospitality purchased the hotel in 2017 and has completed approximately 70 percent of the $14 million property renovation.

The remaining renovations to the lobby, restaurant, bar and courtyard area are expected to be completed by end of summer.

The Ingleside Hotel offers 194 guest rooms and suites that feature appointed glass,  tile bathrooms, flat screen televisions and refrigerators. Rooms and suites also include a work station with complimentary wireless internet.

The property is more than 40,000 square feet of newly renovated, state-of-the-art meeting and banquet space. Wedding tours are available on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a first-come basis.

The word "ingle" is a synonym for fireplace, so the name literally means "by the fireplace." With that name, a warm and cozy experience will most likely be at the heart of the visit.
