Need an easy way to show your grateful nature this Thanksgiving week? Sure you do.

Click here to donate to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s Give a Gobbler campaign.

One in seven people in eastern Wisconsin will not have the opportunity for a full meal this Thanksgiving, so you can help make the celebration a reality for more families in your neighborhood by making a donation to the Give A Gobbler program.

As a former Feeding America board member, it’s my duty to call this to your attention. But honestly, it’s so dang easy and just a $15 donation buys a turkey for a local family. Do it.

Want to give to another great organization? Hunger Task Force has its own "turkey drive" called the Rexnord Turkey Ticker Challenge. Rexnord matches every turkey donation made to Hunger Task Force – and again, an easy $15 donation buys a full turkey for a family in need.

Need another way to help? There's Stuff the Bus on Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the Pick ’N Save at 15170 W. Greenfield Ave. Elizabeth & Radar from 99.1 The Mix will again rock the 20th Annual Stuff the Bus Food Drive the day before Thanksgiving! I helped promote this annual event a bit last week and I hope you’ll help out too.

Finally, join me, my family and hundreds of others Thanksgiving morning as we run the 6th Annual Drumstick Dash 5K. Or just give any amount that you can through the rest of this festive holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving, Milwaukee – and help make others' just as happy too.
