Now that "Bachelor in Paradise" is over and we're months away from the next season of the popular reality show, I bet you thought we had a break from "The Bachelor." Well jokes, because THE BACHELOR BEAT NEVER DIES – especially when there's a local connection involved. 

Yesterday new "Bachelor" star Colton Underwood appeared on "Ellen" to chat about his upcoming season, fantasy suites and his virginity (because for a guy who doesn't like talking about it, he always talks about it). But the highlight of his appearance came when he got to meet three of his contestants early in a game of "Know or Go" – similar to the comedienne's NBC game show "Game of Games" in which the ladies had to answer Colton trivia correctly or get dropped down a hole. Hold on, they should just do "The Bachelor" like that! Sounds like a hoot!

Anyways, one of the three first contestants introduced was Annie Reardon who, as later reported by "Bachelor" spoiler king Reality Steve, turns out to be a Mequon native – joining a long lineage of Wisconsin "Bachelor" connections including, most recently, Waukesha native Nick Viall, Marquette University grad Rachel Lindsay and Germantownian Danielle Maltby from Nick's season. 

So what else do we already know about Reardon? Well, according to Reality Steve, while the 23-year-old originally hails from Wisconsin, she's spent most of her adult life far from home, heading to the University of Alabama to study business and economics before traveling back north after graduation to work for Bloomingdales in New York. And, from her "Ellen" appearance, we learned she's a big-time dog lover with seven puppers, her mom owns a horse farm and, like any proper Wisconsinite (or 'Bama grad), she knows how many points a touchdown is worth. 

The most important thing we learned, however, from the "Ellen" clip? She won the game, meaning early bonus time with Colton – who seemed very into her throughout the segment. Hmm. And her victory seemed pretty rigged considering she technically got the final question wrong and only won because the other ladies had already been dropped. HMMMM! We may already have an early favorite.

Does this mean "The Bachelor" will come back to Brew City for Colton's season? Time will tell when new episodes, as well as my weekly recaps, start back up sometime in January. In the meantime, I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to ABC about trading out the rose ceremony for dropping people down pits.
