Movies on Netflix: In the fine words of renowned performer Lilly von Schtupp, they're always coming and going and going and coming – and always too soon.

Indeed, it is that time of the month when the streaming service announces which movies will be leaving its stable, and unfortunately, in July, "Blazing Saddles" is amongst the names, after a solid ... four months on the streaming website? Four months!? What in the wide, wide world of sports is going on here?!

The Mel Books comedy classic isn't the only hit leaving Netflix. The streaming service is ZING! KAPOW!-ing the original "Batman" – starring the late, great Adam West – off its servers on the first of the month, as well as Oscar-winners from Mike Nichols ("Working Girl") and Martin Scorsese (the wildly underrated "Hugo"). Oh, and a ton of those direct-to-video "American Pie" sequels starring none of the original cast members (except for poor, sweet Eugene Levy; keep getting those checks).

Anyways, here's the full list of all of the movies those sidewindin', bushwackin', hornswagglin', cracker croakers at Netflix are getting rid of next month.

Matt Mueller Culture Editor

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
