On a sleepy Tuesday morning last month, Kumail Nanjiani and Tracee Ellis Ross charmingly talked a lot about their breakfast – oh, and also named the much-anticipated nominees for the 2019 Academy Awards. (But seriously, can we not do these asleep o'clock in the morning anymore?) And for just a few more weeks, we'll argue about what Best Picture movies are awful (looking at you, "Vice"!) and rejoice when a cinephile pick wins a guild award and lament the snubs that won't even be at the ceremony and love our favorites and loathe their competitors even more. (Still looking at you, "Vice"!)

And it'll be EXHAUSTING.

There is bright side to all of this hoopla: We get to watch a bunch of good movies. (And also "Vice" – OK, OK, enough!) But with more than 30 nominees to get around to by Sunday, Feb. 24, it's easy to feel overwhelmed – or at least to wonder what the heck is "Never Look Away" and where the heck you're supposed to find it.

To help out, here's a list of all the nominees and where you can find them – whether on DVD, on a streaming service or even still in theaters – before Hollywood's biggest night. A reminder: Several Marcus and AMC theaters are hosting Best Picture marathons, so check your local theater's listings to see which movies and showings are scheduled. And don't think I spaced on the nominated short films; the Downer Theatre is showing both the animated and live-action shorts, while the Oriental Theatre is screening the nominated documentary shorts.

Now it's time to feast on all these films like they're an entire pizza folded in half. Dig in!

Matt Mueller Culture Editor

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
