Another week, another Summerfest headliner eschewing this current unknown year for the hopefully sunnier days of 2021. This time, it's country music star Chris Stapleton, who today announced that he will move his "All-American Road Show" concert tour to next year – including his Big Gig stop, which now falls on Thursday, July 8, 2021. 

Stapleton marks the third Summerfest headliner to move to 2021, after Dave Matthews Band and Halsey.

"We are very sorry to announce that this year’s All-American Road Show has been postponed & rescheduled for 2021," reads a statement from Chris and Morgane Stapleton. "We’ve made this decision with the health and safety of our fans, touring family, and the communities we travel through as our number one priority.

"We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all navigate these unusual times. We miss seeing your faces in the crowd, hearing your voices and sharing the moments that we can only have when we come together in music. We hope to see you next year. Until then we wish you all good health & safety. Stay strong & God bless."

As with the other moved Summerfest Amp acts, those who've already purchased tickets for the show are asked to hold on to their original tickets, as they will be honored for the new 2021 Big Gig concert date. Those looking for a refund instead have 30 days from today's announcement to do so from the original point of purchase. If fans bought tickets from the Summerfest box office – which is currently closed due to the ongoing pandemic – they will have 30 days from the box office's reopening date to get a refund.
