Happiness will begin this fall for Jo Bro fans, as the former teen trio will take to the road for their "Happiness Begins Tour" – including a stop at Fiserv Forum on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Fellow pop stars Bebe Rexha and Jordan McGraw will help open the show.
The new tour marks the trio's first since reuniting earlier this year, as well as the first stop in Milwaukee in almost a decade, last playing the Bradley Center in 2009. The boy band was supposed to play the Riverside Theater in 2013, but cancelled just a few weeks before the show – and then broke up as a group later that year.
Before that breakup, the Disney Channel stars were one of the most popular acts in the country, releasing multiple albums, a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2009, selling out screaming concert crowds across the globe and starring in a theatrically released 3-D concert film in 2008.
Their popularity hadn't diminished after their breakup – especially Nick and Joe, who continued topping the charts as a solo artist and as the frontman of DNCE, respectively – and now that they're back together and making music together, such as the new single, "Sucker," they're once again one of the biggest acts touring the globe.
Tickets for the show will go on sale beginning Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at Fiserv Forum's website.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
