The Milwaukee Brewers have been slowly revealing their all-fan giveaways for next season this past week. For the most part, they've been of the fairly standard bobblehead variety: a 1980s vintage Brewer, Ryan Braun, Greg Vaughn and a "Barking BobbleHank."

I'm sorry, were you yawning at those free collectables? Because here's something to wake you up: a talking Bob Uecker alarm clock.

On Sunday, July 10, as the Milwaukee Brewers take on the second best baseball team in Missouri, all fans will receive a Bob Uecker alarm clock that will cry, "Get up, get up, get outta ... bed!" That certainly beats the hell out of the usual buzzing or beeping.

The Brewers have more announcements to come throughout the week, so stay tuned to their all-fan giveaway site to see when the dates for the rest of the giveaways and to see what else is to come. But let's be real; nothing's going to beat the Uecker alarm.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
