OnMilwaukee.com’s own Molly Snyder has been selected as the new Pfister Narrator.

A senior writer, Snyder has been at OnMilwaukee.com for 12 years. She was selected as the sixth Pfister Narrator by a panel of judges comprised of local writers, editors and representatives of the hotel. Current narrator Jenna Kashou will leave her post in May.

Snyder will spend time interviewing guests and visitors to the historic hotel and will produce two blog posts per week for the award-winning Pfister blog.  She will continue in her job at OnMilwaukee.com during her six-month stint as the Pfister Narrator, which began May 1. She will also co-write a book with the Pfister Artist-in-Residence Stephanie Barenz.

"I am honored to be the Pfister Narrator," says Snyder. "The position combines the things that matter to me the most: writing, Milwaukee and human connection."

"OnMilwaukee.com has been honored to have been involved with the innovative Pfister Narrator program since year one. It’s not only a great idea, but a fitting vehicle for a Milwaukee icon that’s never short on stories to tell. Molly's talents, inquisitive nature, and never-ending love of the city and people that travel through it will complement her fine work here at OnMilwaukee. The Marcus Corporation is a long-time partner, and we look forward to helping to promote another year of the Pfister Narrator program," said Jeff Sherman, president of OnMilwaukee.com.
