Centennial Hall at Milwaukee Public Library is one of those places that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time to a golden age, like the 1890s, when the library was constructed. But looks can be deceiving, I was reminded, when I re-visited the gorgeous auditorium space, 733 N. 8th St.
