Jason Cleereman, an immigration attorney who often provided pro bono and reduced rate legal services and a longtime board member of the Southside Organizing Center, among many other community efforts, was shot and killed Tuesday near the Holton Street Bridge. Those who knew him remember Cleereman as a man who worked tirelessly for the community and who was dedicated to his family, Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service reports.
