Larry Williams will serve as the next vice president and director of athletics, Marquette University President Scott R. Pilarz, S.J., announced today. Williams has been the director of athletics and recreation at the University of Portland since 2004. He will begin at Marquette Jan. 2, 2012, reporting directly to Pilarz.
