Tour of America's Dairyland, June 15-25
Officially named "America's Dairyland" in 1930, Wisconsin has been a national leader in dairying for more than a century. And for nearly a decade, the state has commemorated its status by hosting the largest competitive road cycling event in the U.S.
The Tour of America's Dairyland, presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, celebrates its ninth year in 2017 with 11 straight days of racing from June 15-25. In 2016, the event attracted participants from 42 U.S. states and 16 countries and awarded more than $175,000 in cash and prizes to pro and amateur racers across all categories.
Besides the fast-paced and exciting cycling action, fans can enjoy neighborhood family fun, with kids activities, live music and entertainment, local food and drinks, merchant sales and lots of Wisconsin-made chocolate milk.
This year, the event has chosen to support Variety Children's Charity of Wisconsin. Visit the website for registration information, locations and schedule of races.
