This guide is presented by Miller Brewing Company. Let's be merry and Lite this season! Please drink responsibly. And, never drink and drive.

Hey people who celebrate St. Nick’s: the holiday is Thursday, Dec. 6 – as in this Thursday (shoes are put out on Wednesday) – so that means this is the last weekend to shop for treats and baubles to fill your favorite humans’ shoes or stockings.

I mean, you don’t have to shop this weekend for St. Nick’s but by doing so it might relieve some early-in-the-week stress of getting to stores after other obligations. Also, most kids don’t want a boot filled with beef jerky and scratch-off cards (although I kind of do) so shopping late-night Tuesday at the gas station mart isn’t advised.

With that in mind, here are a bunch 0f businesses to put on your St. Nick’s shopping list for this weekend:

Beans and Barley
1901 E. North Ave., (414) 278-7878

The gift options at Beans are a-plenty all year ‘round, but particularly during the holidays. There are a lot of smaller items for sale which are perfect for stuffing into stockings. Or shoes.

Milwaukee Art Museum Museum Store

700 N. Art Museum Dr., (414) 224-3200

The public is welcome to pop into this shop at any time – a ticket to the art museum is not required. Inside you’ll find arty and fun items for kids and adults.

Fischberger’s Variety
2445 N. Holton Ave., (414) 263-1991
This might just be St. Nick heaven. It’s chocked full of quirky, cute and affordable gifties that you won’t find in other shops.

Little Monsters
2445 N. Farwell Ave., (414) 964-2323
The store is as a adorable as the name and offers toys, stylish baby and kids' clothes, toys and gifts.

Sparrow Collective

2224 S Kinnickinnic Ave., (414) 747-9229
Prepare for cute and cool overload before entering , but here you’re certain to find easy-to-slip-in-a-shoe-or-stocking gems made by local artists.

Swoon

5422 W. Vliet St., (414) 940-0756
Swoon sells gifts, clothing, jewelry, craft supplies, toys and so much more. It’s definitely St. Nicholas approved.

The Waxwing
1800 E. North Ave.

Anyone who finds a stocking or shoe full of Waxwing gifts is definitely on the nice list. Waxwing features local art and handmade gifts at affordable prices and is home to over 300 local and national artists.

Winkie’s
629 E. Silver Spring Dr., Whitefish Bay, (414) 964-2130
The basement of Winkie’s is a special place offering both gifts that represent a step back in time along with the stuff kids crave today.
