Adventure Rock will open a new location in the Milwaukee Brewing Co.'s space, 613 S. 2nd St., as first reported by the Biz Times. Milwaukee Brewing Co. relocated to a new facility on 9th Street.
This will be the third rock climbing complex for Adventure Rock. The first opened in Brookfield in 2016 followed by a second location on North Avenue on Milwaukee's East Side.
The Walker's Point space is not tall enough to offer full-on rock climbing, thus it will offer "bouldering" which involves climbing horizontally on jagged 15-foot "rocks." Adventure Rock will also host yoga and fitness classes.
The new Adventure Rock will most likely open in 2020, but stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for a First Look when it becomes available.
