REO Speedwagon will perform after the Admirals game March 2 at the Bradley Center.

The game against Hamilton starts at 7 p.m. The concert will start shortly after.

REO Speedwagon has been recording and playing since the 1970s. The band has released over 15 studio albums and has had numerous top 40 hits. Their most successful album, "Hi Infidelity," was released in 1980 and featured singles "Take It On The Run" and "Keep On Loving You." The record spent 65 weeks on the charts, including 32 weeks in the top 10 and 15 weeks at no. 1.

The band currently comprises lead singer Kevin Cronin, keyboard player Neal Doughty -- who is an original member of the band -- bass player Bruce Hall, drummer Bryan Hitt, and lead Guitarist Dave Amato. REO has spent the last few years touring with other classic rock bands such as Journey, Styx, Foreigner and Fleetwood Mac.

The Admirals face Chicago on Dec. 26 in a game being billed as an evening with Matt and Pat. NASCAR star Matt Kenseth, who hails from Cambridge, drops the ceremonial first puck and signs autographs at the game and Pat McCurdy performs before and after the game and during intermissions. Upper-level tickets to the game cost $6.
