I'm sad to report that we've reached the final day of the 2019 Milwaukee Film Festival. I know; it feels like we just started. But don't cry because it's over; cry because we're all very sleep-deprived and exhausted from trying to cram in as many movies as humanly possible while also skipping meals and any human interaction outside of a dark movie theater.
But also smile because there are somehow STILL great movies to check out – whether among the recommendations I posted yesterday or among the three to see video below, ranging from a cinema-live show combo platter to one of the year's best movies and a tribute to one of America's greatest theaters (showing in one of America's greatest theaters: the Oriental!).
Here is, one final time, my three to see for the 2019 Milwaukee Film Festival.
- "Marriage Story" screens at 3:30 p.m. at the Broadway Theatre Center
- "The Apollo" screens at 7:30 p.m. at the Oriental Theatre
- "Everything Is Terrible: LIVE" screens at 8 p.m. at the Oriental Theatre
