While I had hoped to cover some of this myself today, my trip to Minneapolis was canceled due to mechanical problems (thanks, Delta).

So, here's what our friends at Fox Sports North are reporting, in what's sure to be a developing story about the end of Brett Favre's historic starting streak.

Personally, I'm surprised and just waiting for some last-minute drama (assuming that's possible). Favre has turned into some sort of NFL zombie who is impervious to injury.

Or has this zombie finally been stopped "dead" in his tracks?

I'm guessing we haven't heard the last of this story ...

Update:

Here is more from Fox Sports Wisconsin
