The Big Gig and the Admirals have teamed up to give Milwaukeeans a gift for 414 Day next month.
When the Ads take on the rival Chicago Wolves at the UWM Panther Arena on Friday, April 14, all fans in attendance will score a free Summerfest admission ticket. The giveaway ticket will be good for any day during the Big Gig's three-weekend run, taking place June 22-24, June 29 through July 1 and July 6-8.
As an added bonus, after the Admirals hopefully net a win over the Wolves, "Summerfest Night" at the UWM Panther Arena will wrap up with a special post-game concert from "Plush" and "Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart" '90s grunge hitmakers Stone Temple Pilots.
Tickets for the Admirals game – which, considering the team is in second place in its division and eyeing up yet another playoff birth, would be worthwhile even without the 414 Day fun – are on sale now at Ticketmaster, over the phone at (414) 227-0550 or in person at the Admirals box office found at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
