The NHL may have announced another preseason game for here in Milwaukee – but real ones know Brew City's hockey-loving heart belongs to the Admirals, who today revealed their schedule for the 2024-25 season.

The Ads are hot off an impressive 2023-24 campaign that featured a franchise-record midseason winning streak and a deep run into the AHL postseason, all the way to the Western Conference Finals where they ran into their growing West Coast rivals: the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Now, it's time to brace yourself for the revenge tour – starting with the season opener on the road at Grand Rapids before finally dropping the puck at home on Saturday, Oct. 19 against Rockford.

Here's the rest of the games coming to the UWM Panther Arena and beyond this upcoming campaign toward the Calder Cup:

A fresh batch of Admirals games is always exciting – even better, though, is that the new schedule arrived today with the help of a very entertaining video reveal from the team, starring some very, uh, imaginative young hockey fans. Check it out right here:

Forget the AHL or even NHL; that's some high-quality NFL schedule release action there. Watch yourselves, L.A. Chargers. Also: The Grand Rapids God Falcon is an infinitely cooler name and should be changed accordingly. Who do I contact at AHL HQ to make this happen?

As for a squad perfectly named as is, the Milwaukee Admirals will take the ice this October – and to make sure you've got your spot at the rink claimed when the puck drops, head over to the Admirals' website for ticket info and more information about the upcoming slate.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
